Pat Castka creates a delightful array of folk art dolls in her Long Island, NY studio. She dresses them with exquisite detail in antique textiles and her use of texture and color is perfect. Pat's sculpting -- often of paper maiche -- and sense of proportion is divine. Well recognized within the folk art community, she participates in the Country's most prestigious shows -- many juried -- including, Wilton in Connecticut and the Costa Mesa Folk Art Invitational, among others.
