Marjan (said Marianne) Jorritsma -- a Dutch Artist -- makes each of her bears with love and details that are true and sweet. Once a doll maker and collector, she discovered bear making and has never looked back. She is now one of the Netherlands' premier bear artists. She makes each bear and all of the darling outfits herself, and is well recognized for her classically dressed little girl bears. She calls each of her creations Tonni Bears in memory of her brother. We love their proportion and Marjan's use of texture and soft color palette. We are thrilled to be working with Marjan to offer such a nice selection of these rare and special treats to our collectors
